Policy Drivers Fellowship (PDF) is an advanced, application-based fellowship of PLLI’s School of Governance & Politics designed to move emerging civic and public leaders from governance knowledge to real-world governance practice. Through structured guidance, practical placement, expert consultation, and a mentored capstone project, Fellows build the competence, confidence, and strategic clarity required to navigate institutions, shape policy, and lead credible civic change.

Eligibility Requirements

To ensure that participants are fully prepared for the transformative journey ahead, the Policy Drivers Fellowship (PDF) is designed for individuals who:

Completion of EGP (Essentials of Governance and Politics) with a Capstone (CAP 100) score of 16 out of 20 or higher.

  • Either a smartphone, a tablet or a computer with reliable internet

People tend to do a schedule of 4–6 hours per week withthin the 12-week self-paced period

After PDF,  you’d have developed competency and certification in:

Practical governance competency.

Policy analysis, institutional navigation, and civic strategy skills you can apply immediately — not just theory.

Direct placement and mentorship.

Real institutional exposure guided by people who have built institutions, run for office, managed public funds, and led ministries.

PDF is the advanced level of the PLLI School of Governance and Politics pipeline — built for EGP graduates ready to move from understanding governance to practising it. It combines a structured practical guide, placement within government ministries and party offices, one-on-one consultation with political experts, and a mentored capstone fellowship project.

EGP graduates who scored 16/20 or higher on their Capstone and are ready for hands-on governance work, emerging leaders seeking real placement inside government or party structures, and civic-minded professionals wanting direct mentorship from political and policy figures.

  • EGP runs for 12 weeks at 4–6 hours per week, self-paced within the cohort window, with weekly live faculty sessions.

  • The EGP is delivered through a combination of:

    • Self-paced online course modules available via our Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Mid-way check-in webinars for leadership check-ins and Q&A with faculty.

  • The PDF program is 99.9% online, offering flexibility for participants to learn from anywhere. However, there may be in-person events, like the graduation ceremony, if physical as may be communicated, depending on location and availability.

  • Yes, upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a EGP Certificate that acknowledges your growth and development. This certificate can serve as a credential in both ministry and professional settings.

We understand that life happens! But we know the power of commitment and intentionality. If you're unable to complete the course within the given timeframe, you may not be eligible for graduation and the certificate of completion.
