Eligibility Requirements

To ensure that participants are fully prepared for the transformative journey ahead, the Essentials of Governance and Politics (EGP) is designed for individuals who:

  • Either a smartphone, a tablet or a computer with reliable internet

People tend to do a schedule of 4–6 hours per week withthin the 12-week self-paced period

After EGP,  you’d have developed competency and certification in:

Civic and constitutional literacy — understanding citizenship, rights, government structure, and how to engage each branch of government effectively.
Ethical governance and policy leadership — translating political, economic, and institutional knowledge into a real governance action plan.

Through our programs and courses, we provide transformative learning experiences rooted in biblical principles and practical leadership strategies for success in ministry, business, and personal life.

The Essentials of Governance and Politics (EGP) is the foundation level of the PLLI School of Governance and Politics pipeline — built for citizens, aspiring leaders, students, and young professionals who want to understand how governance works, know their rights and responsibilities, and engage meaningfully in the political and civic life of their country.

 

University students, civil society professionals and community advocates, early-career public servants, aspiring politicians and party members, graduates and young professionals, faith community and civic leaders — and any citizen who wants to move from civic indifference to civic urgency. No prior knowledge of governance, politics, or law is required.

  • EGP runs for 12 weeks at 4–6 hours per week, self-paced within the cohort window, with weekly live faculty sessions.

  • The EGP is delivered through a combination of:

    • Self-paced online course modules available via our Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Mid-way check-in webinars for leadership check-ins and Q&A with faculty.

  • The EGP program is 99.9% online, offering flexibility for participants to learn from anywhere. However, there may be in-person events, like the graduation ceremony, if physical as may be communicated, depending on location and availability.

  • Yes, upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a EGP Certificate that acknowledges your growth and development. This certificate can serve as a credential in both ministry and professional settings.

We understand that life happens! But we know the power of commitment and intentionality. If you're unable to complete the course within the given timeframe, you may not be eligible for graduation and the certificate of completion.

The cost of the EGP program can be found on our registration page. 

The EGP program is designed to be flexible and self-paced. On average, students spend 2-5 hours per week on course materials, assignments, and review calls. However, you can adjust the time commitment based on your schedule. It's that flexible!

We encourage you to carefully review the eligibility requirements before registering for the EGP program to ensure that it is the right fit for your goals and qualifications. Please note that, as part of our program structure, we do not offer refunds.
