He gave his life to Christ at the age of 25 and was ordained as a minister in 2007 at Redemption Ministry, Port Harcourt, where he served as a supporting minister. After retiring in 2020, he moved to Lagos and today serves as a Greater Community Leader at The Elevation Church, Lekki. Before MLCP Kolawole’s ministry journey has been marked by faithful service in local church leadership roles, but he openly admits to personal struggles—particularly in the area of managing spontaneous anger at home. Despite recently completing a two-year Bible Training Program at Rhema Bible Training Center Nigeria, he longed for more: deeper growth in character, discipleship, and spiritual maturity. Inside the Experience Kolawole describes the MLCP experience as “very challenging, very intense, deep, and practical.” The courses and worksheets pushed him to reflect, deny self, and embrace accountability. Among all the modules, Character Building, Discipleship, and Spiritual Growth had the deepest impact—reshaping his perspective on what true leadership in Christ looks like. Key Shifts & Growth: Tangible Transformation Through MLCP, Kolawole learned that,“effective discipleship leading to spiritual growth demands total submission and self-denial.”This revelation, combined with practical tools around emotional intelligence, prayer, and relationship management, has transformed both his leadership and personal life. A specific moment that confirmed his growth came at home: when faced with a triggering situation, instead of reacting in anger as before, he restrained himself and chose humility—offering a prompt apology. For Kolawole, this was a powerful sign of grace at work and of how much he had grown through MLCP. His Advice to Others When asked what he would say to anyone considering MLCP, Kolawole was emphatic:“It is a rewarding program. It is worth the sacrifices, given its intensity and time demand.
